Fall in Sandpoint :: Lots of Snow and a New Hepler LC Office

Happy Winter Solstice! Today is the shortest day of the year. The sunset is at 3:54pm in Sandpoint and our local ski resort, Schweitzer, is having an epic season of snowfall already. I'm excited for this winter's activities, which have already begun: snowboarding, downhill and cross-country skiing, hot spring trips, snowshoeing, and cabin retreats with friends - not to mention the upcoming holidays with family and friends.

New Season, New Office Space, Same Practice

This Fall was full of Autumnal festivities, including cider, pumpkins, and puffy vests. This last season also marked the opening of Hepler Law & Consulting's office at 111 Cedar Street in Sandpoint!! It's located in the historic Farmin Building, right above the "up scale pub," Baxters on Cedar. I would love to show you around. If you're in the area, drop me a message and we can schedule an appointment to talk and take a look at the new place.

Other than moving into a new space, I have continued to work with new and existing clients offering business consulting and business and real estate legal services. My favorite part of running Hepler LC has been getting to know you all more to help you achieve your dreams. I'm impressed by you all, so keep up the good work.

I'm also continuing my vision quest theme as part of my business consulting content. My latest post, What's Your Story?: Reconsider Your Personal or Organizational History to Boost Your Vision, focuses on how we can start our vision quest by starting to understand our story with more clarity. As Søren Kierkegaard stated: "Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards." So let's go on this vision quest together and learn to live our best lives forwards!

My Winter '23 Hepler LC Plans

This winter I'm planning to continue my vision quest. I'll be posting more content and learning more about how to understand our past stories better to gain a clearer organizational and individual vision before shifting to a focus on the future and on today's realities. I hope you'll join me on this journey! I would love to hear your input and insights on how you have gained personal or organizational vision.

I am also planning on obtaining my license to practice law in New York to expand my business practice to the Big Apple and beyond. One of my mentors and law professors has told me that I should be admitted to the New York Bar, no matter where I'm based, for a while now. I'm finally taking his advice and I've started the process.

I'll continue to work toward my goal of climbing the remaining tallest Pacific Northwest peaks (Mount Rainier, Mount Hood, and Granite Peak) with some training help from Peak Living Fitness (check out his services - he's awesome!).

Happy holidays and happy New Year to you all! I hope you had an amazing fall and a successful 2022. Please reach out to me and give me an update. Love you all!
